Empowering SMEs: Grants for Adopting Digital Technologies
Digital Transformation Grants
These grants aim to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their digital transformation efforts. They provide financial assistance to cover eligible costs associated with adopting and implementing digital technologies. The grant amounts can vary based on the scope and nature of the project.
Digital Advisors Grants
These grants are designed to help SMEs hire Digital Advisors who can assist in developing a customized Digital Adoption Plan tailored to their specific business needs. The grants cover up to 90% of the eligible costs, with a maximum grant payment of $15,000. This support enables businesses to access expert guidance and develop effective strategies for digital adoption.
Youth Placement Wage Subsidies
CDAP offers subsidies to eligible SMEs to support work placements for youth. The subsidies provide financial assistance of up to $7,300 to offset the wage costs of offering youth valuable work experiences.
Additionally, to support the implementation of the digital plan, SMEs participating in CDAP can apply for a zero-interest loan from the Business Development Bank of Canada (BDC) of up to $100,000. This loan aims to provide further financial support to SMEs as they execute the strategies outlined in their Digital Adoption Plan.
